For the past two years we have offered two vision programs, Sight for Students and Gift of Sight. Sight for Students is a program in which Burke Community Partnership provides coupons to students who do not have access to Medicaid or Peachcare and whose family meets the sliding scale income requirements. The coupons are redeemable at area doctors for eye exams and glasses. BCP also participated in the Gift of Sight program which provided free eye exams and glasses for students on the spot through the vision van provided by the Lenscrafters Foundation. These two programs served 76 students for the past two years.
